About Me

I’m more Katherine than Audrey. I’ve always gotten along well with men but it takes a real effort on my part to build a connection with women. I love the sound of water and all that implies. I want to visit India more than any other country. I’m a third Native American (Choctaw) though most people don’t know that. My favorite number is 7. When I’m emotionally overwhelmed I cook something I’ve made a thousand times before that way my hands stay busy while my heart is occupied. If you knew all the things I believed in you’d have me locked away. I love to cook, take pictures, paint, make jewelry, and just about anything else that you can do with your hands. I try to be a good wife, mom, friend and neighbor, but fail miserably sometimes. I’m trying to grow deeper in my faith, and again sometimes I fail. But I’m here for the long haul, to experience the journey, until the good Lord takes me home.

I think this is the best picture (other than your wedding pictures) of you two that I have ever seen. Want a copy. How do I get one. Oh, by the way, I made your blog my home page this morning. Bet you didn’t think I even knew how to do that huh? Don’t want to miss anything. Love the quilt fabric. I have seen the Dick and Jane stuff in quilt shops before.

Hello, I found your website thru Fred Turners site, thru “The Colonel” site. Right off the bat I noticed from your posts that you have a challenge with your little boy who destroys stuff. I know of an experienced mom you could chat with if you so desire. Her name is Elspeth, she was my doula during the birth of our daughter. She has two boys and one of them was bent on destroying EVERYTHING. I’ll let her know you might contact her. 🙂 Gotta love the mommy connection.

Great seeing the kids. A Kid needs to get caught by daddy but daddy is supposed to be in bed asleep right. This sight and the kid stories is really neet. Can’t wait to talk with you more and see you soon.
