Micah did his tri this weekend and he was AWESOME!!! I’ve never been prouder, he beat his personal goal by 2 min. For a guy who didn’t know how to do more than doggy paddle from one end of the pool to the other 4 months ago it’s pretty amazing that he could even compete with these people, and he only started biking 2 years ago. It’s cool that he even wanted to try it let alone do this well. He came in 9th in his age cat. at 143min, and 29th overall.  I could gush for hours about how proud I am but I know that would only embarrass him (so call if you want the schpill 🙂 Scroll down to Male 25-29 (he’s #9).

I also made Gentry some shoes this weekend…they’re really cute but took a lot longer than I thought to make.

Loved the pictures, Micah I am very proud of you. Your accomplishment of this goal just continues to reinforce the foundational truth that I know about you, which is, there is nothing that you can’t do. You’re amazing!

Hi guys. What a great day you had! It will be an awesome memory for everyone. We are very proud of you Micah. What a combination, a nerd and a jock. (just a joke). It sounds like Ami thinks the hours away from home to train might have been worth it. I can’t believe Gentry’s feet look so big. His shoes and the shirts are cute. luvya all, mom

Hey, thanks everyone! Brock definitely encouraged me to join in and made it fun to train with him. I’m hooked now, though. I’m currently scanning the countryside for just one more FIX (triathlon). Anyone want to go to Columbus Oct. 7th?
