I love to make cakes and I’ve never made the same one twice. I’ve scoured every cookbook I can get my hands on for tips or tricks to make my cakes unique. I’ve had no professional training, just a husband with some seriously sensitive (and picky) tastebuds. The biggest stumbling block I’ve had is my youngest son who is allergic to eggs. I’ve found some shortcuts for that as well, so if your child has an allergy I’ve got some great recipies and would love to help you put cake back on your birthday party menu.
I’ve done everything from making white chocolate safari animals to gumpast quille butterflies. I even stumbled across a fondant recipie that doesn’t taste like plastic. I think cakes make the best gifts when they are well thought out. Email me any questions you might have and I’ll be glad to help.

Ami, Those are amazing! I have never seen cakes like some of those and they sound so delicious. I hope I can sample one some day.
