As far as I can see nothing is cuter than little kids singing Christmas songs. I took some clips of Grey singing but my youtube link isn’t working right now so I’ll upload them later.
I did however snatch this cute pic of him and his classmates.

I fianally got around to making the kids scarves. I tried making Grey one a year ago but he didn’t want it. I was putting mine on the other day and he really wanted to wear one too. I put an old one on him and he wore it for hours so I decided it was time to try again. Gentry on the other hand won’t wear his, so I had to use Vlad as a model.

We had our Dec. mtg/cookie swap last night and as usual fun was had by all. We talked about kids, marriage, in-laws, private school vs. public, silent football, slumber parties, etc. We had to cut the night a smidge short when we heard the windows being pelted by ice, but it was still a 2 1/2 hr dinner, and we even had enough cookies left over to pass some to the other people sitting at our hibatchi.

Last weekend we went to Owensboro for baby Gabriella’s 1st birthday. She was SO precious and the boys really took too her, they were both so gentle and sweet.

little ones in pajamas are the cutest
The on Wednesday Gentry and I went with Grey’s school to see “If you take a mouse to the movie’s” at the Lexington Opera House. I would highly recommend doing this with you kids. Tickets were only $6, and both Gentry and Grey were on the edge of their seat clapping and cheering the whole time. It was really precious.

Then I spent the rest of the week making cookies to give Micah’s co-workers. His work is so good to him, they’ve been so supportive of his Phd work and that’s hard to find in this economic climate. I can’t imagine what it would be like if he went to a job he hated everyday (it would be pretty miserable I’m sure). So as a thank you for their friendship and support, and sending home a happy husband everyday I figure cookies once a year is the least I can do.

Merry Christmas Martek Boxes
This weekend we head off to Louisville for the Needham family Christmas gathering and then we have a week to prepare for our cross country trek to Oklahoma-YE Haw!

I don’t know anyone who wasn’t totally amazed by the Planet Earth series when it came on TV a couple years ago.
I know it gave me a whole new respect for our world.

Planet Earth $70.00
I’m sure I could spend all day filling this up, but it’s been really hard to just come up with these few things. So I’m gonna take that as a blessing that I just don’t want much and be done with it.

So after three years, I’ve finally commited to this house ( I know I’m a little slow). So I’ve finally painted the murals in the boys room that I’ve been planning for the past year. I did a cute tree and I plan to buy the hanging ladder from IKEA that way they can actually climb their tree. I also painted a flying elephant above Grey’s bunk, that way they can imagine being in a plane. I want to do a train on Gentry’s wall next.

I also painted our bathroom a nice seaside blue and bought a new shower curtain from Target
